Rick grew up in Orono, Minnesota. He graduated from Mound Westonka High School in 1975, and went on to earn his BA in Business Management from the University of St. Thomas. Upon graduation, he joined the Radisson Hotel Corporation working in Chicago and Louisville. Wanting more of an entrepreneurial experience with meaningful career he chose to enter the Life Insurance industry in 1982. Earning his CLU he has enjoyed helping/coaching his clients with their financial game plan, both on the offense with asset accumulation and on defense with cost efficient asset protection of each individuals most valuable asset, their Human Life Value.Rick currently has his FINRA Series 6 (Investment Company Products/Variable Contracts Limited Representative) and FINRA Series 63 (NASAA Uniform State Law Exam) registrations. His focus is on working with individuals and families who are responsible, by nature, for their own affairs; clients who take control of their financial future by practicing the fundamentals of sound asset/risk management on a consistent basis. Rick lives in St. Louis Park with his wife Nancy. Rick has two sons, both of whom have or are currently serving their country in the US Army, with overseas service in Afghanistan. In Rick’s spare time, he gives back to the world in various forms, active in the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) serving at the Local, State and National level in the Advocacy space as well as his church, Boy Scouts and coaching.
